We have again been awarded SCOPE festival qualifiers for senior BSJA competitors. The Katherine James 1m qualifier and the Sandicroft Stud 1.05m qualifier take place on Sunday 7th March. The course-builder for this show will be Tony Mallett & a schedule is available by clicking here.

Re-starting on 12th March, we will be holding evening indoor showjumping; these competitions are open to juniors and seniors. Starting at 5pm, classes begin at 40cm and go up to 70cm. Evening dressage re-starts on Thursday 25th March, there will be three classes: walk & trot, prelim & novice. The walk & trot test is ideal for novice horses, ponies, children and adults. In addition to the British Dressage Intro A & B tests we have also written our own LKF Intro 1 test, for a copy of this please click here. The first showing show of 2010 takes place on Sunday 28th March. The schedule is available here or on the what’s on page. There are both in-hand & ridden classes with something for everybody, including lead-rein, youngstock, hunters, thoroughbreds & mountain & moorlands.

Our large summer qualifying showing show will be on Sunday 30th May, with qualifiers for BSPS, Ponies(UK), Veteran Horse Society, CHAPS, Equifest & Royal London in a huge variety of classes. Schedules will be available soon, please email or contact us if you would like to be sent one.

After their popularity last year we will again be running some Eventer Trials; starting on 11th April.
They are held outside in our large grass arena, and are judged one round against the clock over a course of approximately 18 fences, which are a mixture of showjumps and working hunter fences. However, if the weather is bad the April date will be held indoors, still over a mixture of fences but a shorter course of approximately 12 fences. All classes are open to juniors and seniors, but to be judged separately if entries warrant.

Don’t forget the arena and jumps are available for hire by individuals or groups on all non-competition days.
